The role of the Commissioner’s Office is to

• Ensure effective co-ordination between divisions;
• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as parliament, government departments, regulatory authorities and international organizations; and to
• Maintain the integrity, transparency and accountability of the Commission.

A Commission Secretary has been appointed in the Commissioner’s Office to ensure that the Commission practices good corporate governance. The role of the Commission secretary includes ensuring that the Commission complies with relevant legislation, conducting statutory audits and promoting the implementation of best practice in all areas of operation.
