Policy & Research

The Competition Commission, as part of its effective functioning, does analysis and evaluation of market conditions, structure and trends; the development of sector profiles; the facilitation of policy generation and review, as well as the provision of economic data and other information.

All these activities are meant to assist in the formulation of policies and thorough implementation of the Competition Act; thus opening up markets and ensuring equal participation for all into the South African economy.
